Dr. Erin M. Heffler
Dr. Erin M. Heffler is honored to serve Dallastown Area School District as the Assistant Superintendent. She is a career educator with experience in a variety of environments. She joined the Dallastown Area School District staff in 2000 as a high school mathematics teacher while coaching field hockey and softball. Since that time, she has served the district as assistant principal at the Dallastown Area High School, and most recently as principal for the Dallastown Area Intermediate School. Throughout this time, Dr. Heffler has sought and continues to seek opportunities to inspire and support the growth of the students with innovation and creativity as they explore pathways to their success.
Additionally, Dr. Heffler is dedicated to providing engaging and relevant professional development, comprehensive planning, and technology integration. She is committed to the success of every child and educator and has built an extensive legacy of successful school and administrative leadership.
Dr. Heffler earned a secondary mathematics bachelor’s degree from York College. She graduated with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Western Maryland College, and later earned a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University in 2015. As a life-long learner, Dr. Heffler seeks opportunities to be a steward of excellence in educational opportunities by supporting the vision of the Dallastown Area School District to “inspire and create pathways for student success.” As she continues her journey at Dallastown Area School District she is committed to utilizing her strengths, experience, and creativity to open doors of opportunities for our students and the future of our community.
